Job Title: Social Media Manager

Department: Marketing / Digital Communications

Reports To: Marketing Head / Hospital AdministratorJob Summary:

The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the hospital’s social media strategy to increase brand awareness, patient engagement, and digital reach. The role oversees content planning, execution, analytics, and team coordination to ensure consistent and impactful online presence across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with hospital goals.
  • Create monthly content calendars for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Identify trends and integrate relevant campaigns for health awareness and hospital promotions.

Content Management

  • Oversee content creation (graphics, reels, videos, health tips, patient stories).
  • Ensure all content is medically accurate, visually appealing, and aligned with brand tone.
  • Collaborate with doctors, departments, and creative teams for fresh content.

Team & Agency Coordination

  • Manage the social media team or coordinate with external digital marketing agencies.
  • Assign tasks, review content, and ensure timely posting and campaign execution.

Online Engagement

  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly.
  • Build and maintain positive engagement with patients, followers, and the community.
  • Handle any negative comments or reviews tactfully in coordination with the PR/management team.

Campaign Execution

  • Plan and execute paid ad campaigns for surgeries, events, camps, or health check packages.
  • Track performance and ROI on ads and sponsored posts.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor page insights, follower growth, post engagement, and campaign performance.
  • Generate monthly reports with key metrics and suggestions for improvement.

Crisis Management

  • Act quickly to control misinformation, rumors, or digital escalations, in alignment with hospital policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s in Marketing, Mass Communication, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in managing social media, preferably in healthcare or service industries.
  • Expertise in social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Canva, Buffer/Hootsuite, analytics tools).
  • Strong written and visual communication skills.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and updated with current digital trends.
  • Ability to work with doctors, photographers, designers, and PR teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9,719.37 - ₹35,925.25 per month
