Role Overview
Social Media Manager
owning Nestology’s social presence end-to-end
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy & Planning
- Translate Nestology’s long-form content (scripts, research, frameworks) into:
- Instagram posts, carousels, reels
- LinkedIn thought-leadership posts
- Build monthly content calendars aligned with:
- Child age (0–3 years)
- Key parenting themes (sleep, language, emotions, independence)
- Maintain a
non-sensational, non-judgmental tone
(no fear marketing)
2. Execution & Publishing
- Write or refine captions that are:
- Warm, intelligent, and parent-first
- Simple without being simplistic
- Coordinate with:
- Video editors
- Script writers
- Designers (if needed)
- Ensure consistency in:
- Visual style
- Voice
- Messaging
3. Community & Engagement
- Respond to comments and DMs with:
- Empathy
- Boundaries (no medical advice)
- Brand-aligned language
- Identify recurring parent concerns and feed insights back to:
- Product team
- Content team
- Build a
trust-based community

4. Growth & Performance
- Track and report:
- Reach, saves, shares, profile visits
- Follower growth quality (not vanity metrics)
- Experiment thoughtfully with:
- Formats (reels vs carousels)
- Posting times
- CTA styles
- Support Meta lead campaigns (content alignment, not media buying)

Required Skills & Experience
- 4-10 years managing social media accounts (education, parenting, wellness preferred) or similar roles
- Strong writing skills in
English
- Deep familiarity with:
- Instagram (Reels, Carousels, Stories)
- LinkedIn content dynamics
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Comfort working with founders and early-stage teams
Good to Have (Not Mandatory)
- Exposure to:
- Parenting, child development, education, psychology, or wellness
- Basic understanding of:
- Instagram analytics
- Meta content best practices
- Experience repurposing long-form content into short-form
