About The Role (in Brief)

• Drive audience growth and engagement across Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Instagram, and other channels.
• Create campaigns, write clear copy, produce short-form visuals and video, and manage relationships with authors, publishers, attendees, and readers.
  

• Plan and manage platform-specific content calendars and publishing.
• Develop and run creative, audience-first campaigns that showcase partners and sponsors authentically.
• Write, edit, and proofread concise copy for posts, captions, and ads.
• Produce and edit visuals and short-form videos optimized for each platform.
• Prepare clear briefs and coordinate with external partners and freelancers to meet deadlines.
• Use analytics and audience insights to test ideas, iterate quickly, and improve results.
• Monitor social trends, platform features, and best practices to keep content effective.
  

• Passion for books and the literary community.
• Strong storytelling and digital communication skills focused on audience impact.
• Hands-on experience with scheduling and content tools (for example, Buffer, Hootsuite, Canva).
• Ability to manage deadlines and perform well during busy event periods.
• Basic analytics literacy and familiarity with common performance metrics.
• Photography and short-form video skills are a plus.
  

Experience

• 4 - 5 years of experience in social media marketing and content creation preferred.
• Proven track record running online campaigns and managing community engagement.
• Excellent written communication across digital channels and strong organizational skills.
• Comfort working independently while coordinating with a small team or external partners.
