The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing and executing social media activity for a leading technology client, with a strong focus on commercial and B2B content. This role is dedicated to the local market, reporting directly to the Regional Social Lead and collaborating closely with the wider commercial team. The role involves managing content creation, scheduling, tagging, and basic reporting, with some creative input.
• Collate and curate relevant social media content. Create and adapt B2B-focused social media content tailored to the local market, ensuring alignment with the brand’s commercial objectives.
• Collaborate on the always-on content strategy and advises on content quality.
• Post and schedule content across relevant social media platforms through Sprinklr, maintaining an organised and up-to-date content calendar.
• Ensure all published content is accurately tagged for effective tracking and analysis.
• Use dashboards to track comments and direct messages on designated social media channels, reply as needed, and ensure conversations stay relevant.
• Perform basic reporting on social media activity, including analysis of metrics such as reach, engagement, content performance and listening. Create ad hoc performance and trend reports, using both owned performance and earned activity to report on how the brand is being represented & engaged with.
• Support minor creative tasks, such as simple image editing or copywriting, to enhance posts where required.
• Participate in occasional events when necessary to collect up-to-date, content worthy information and material for social media updates and posts.
• Proven experience in managing social media platforms, editorial planning and community management, ideally in a B2B or technology setting.
• Ability to curate and produce clear, engaging content suitable for professional audiences.
• Familiarity with content scheduling and tagging tools.
• Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
• Some creative ability for basic visuals and written content.
• Background in the technology sector or B2B marketing communications.
• Strong knowledge of the local market’s digital, social landscape and business culture.
• Experience in Social Management tools – Sprinklr preferred
