We are looking for a passionate and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media Intern to help tell our brand story and engage with our growing community.🎯 Role OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and motivated Social Media Intern to assist with the creation, scheduling, and management of content across our key social media platforms (primarily Instagram and Facebook/Meta). This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about fashion, digital marketing, and storytelling to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.This is an unpaid, 3-month internship, and a Certificate of Completion will be provided upon successful completion of the term.🔑 Key ResponsibilitiesContent Creation & Curation: Assist in conceptualizing, designing (using tools like Canva/Adobe Creative Suite), and curating engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, and potentially other platforms like Pinterest/LinkedIn.Work closely with the Digital Marketing Lead to ensure visual and strategic alignment of all social media posts with the Kaenchi brand identity.Capture and share compelling stories and behind-the-scenes content related to Ikat fabrics and the fashion apparel industry.Scheduling & Posting: Schedule posts and stories using social media management tools to ensure a consistent and optimized posting calendar.Research and implement best practices for hashtags, geotagging, and content format to maximize reach and engagement.Community Management: Monitor social media channels and promptly respond to comments, direct messages, and mentions to foster a thriving and engaged online community.Identify and track potential influencers or collaborators within the fashion niche.Trend Monitoring & Reporting: Stay abreast of the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices in the fashion e-commerce space.Assist in monitoring basic performance metrics (likes, shares, comments, saves) and contribute to weekly performance reports.📜 Qualifications & Requirements * Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Fashion, Digital Media, or a related field. * A strong passion for fashion, apparel, e-commerce, and a keen eye for visual aesthetics. * Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook/Meta Ads platform) and their best practices. * Proficiency in content creation and editing tools (e.g., Canva is a must; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus). * Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft creative and error-free copy. * Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently to meet deadlines. * Familiarity with basic reporting (e.g., using Instagram/Facebook Insights or Google Analytics is a bonus).✨ Benefits of the Internship * Hands-on Experience: Work directly with the Digital Marketing Lead to execute full-funnel social media strategies, including paid media optimization, A/B testing, and e-commerce UX tweaks. * Portfolio Building: Opportunity to create and implement content that will directly contribute to a growing fashion brand. * Mentorship: Receive guidance on performance marketing, SEO, and omnichannel engagement strategies. * Certificate of Completion: Official certification provided upon successful completion of the 3-month term.
