The Instagram Growth Specialist will be responsible for rapidly scaling IPL s presence on Instagram through high-retention reels, strong personal storytelling, creator-style content, and trend-led experimentation.

This is a specialist, creator-style role. The selected candidate will be the face of IPL s Instagram page and must be fully comfortable appearing on camera, hosting reels, speaking directly to the audience, and recording videos frequently.

A portfolio demonstrating on-camera content, reels, or creator-focused work is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities: Instagram Strategy and Growth

Build a platform-first strategy for reels, stories, carousels and interactive formats
Run weekly experiments to improve reach, retention, saves and shares
Identify emerging opportunities in Instagram s algorithm and adapt strategies accordingly

On-Camera Content Creation

Appear on camera as the primary presenter for IPL s Instagram content
Record reels, short videos, explainer clips, event-based content and conversational videos
Script and deliver creator-style content with strong hooks and retention-focused pacing
Maintain a confident, relatable and high-energy screen presence

Reels Production and Creative Storytelling

Ideate, script and execute reels with high engaging storylines
Guide editors on sequencing, pacing, transitions and creative direction
Convert webinars, events and sessions into short-form educational content

Trend Integration and Personality Driven Content

Identify early trends and adapt them intelligently to IPL s context
Create content that blends personality, education and entertainment
Develop POV videos, myth versus fact content, quick explainers and creator-style insights

Community Building and Engagement

Respond to comments, DMs and story interactions
Engage with other relevant creators and communities
Build a strong aspirational community around product and tech careers

Analytics and Optimization

Track reel retention, watch time, saves, shares, reach and follower growth
Use insights to improve hooks, narrative style, pacing and posting frequency
Maintain weekly dashboards for performance review

Strong presence and recognition of the IPL brand through creator-style content

Required Skills and Experience

3-4 Years of Instagram-specific growth experience
A strong portfolio of reels or Instagram accounts featuring on-camera presence
Strong storytelling, scripting and hook-writing ability
Comfortable speaking on camera and leading creator-style content
Good understanding of Instagram s algorithm and content behavior patterns
Ability to work quickly, creatively and analytically
