Job Description – Social Media Executive

Role Overview-
We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and highly motivated Social Media Executive to manage and grow the online presence of Pixzl (Business Content Studio) and Pixzlwed (Event Photography & management).
This is a standalone position — the selected candidate will act as the entire social media department, handling everything from strategy, content creation, posting, analytics, and engagement, to brand positioning across platforms.
Key Responsibilities-
1. Strategy & Planning-
Develop monthly/quarterly social media strategies aligned with Pixzl & Pixzlwed’s branding and marketing goals.
Identify target audience segments and design campaigns to reach them effectively.
Research the latest industry trends, competitors, and best practices to keep both brands ahead.
2. Content Creation & Management-
Conceptualise and create engaging, original, and visually appealing content (posts, reels, stories, carousels, short-form videos, etc.).
Coordinate with the photo & video editing teams to repurpose client deliverables into strong social content.
Write captions, copy, and hashtags that reflect the luxury-emotion tone of Pixzlwed and the professional-creative tone of Pixzl.
Maintain a content calendar for daily/weekly posting.
3. Execution & Publishing-
Handle day-to-day management of all social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, WhatsApp Business, etc.).
Ensure consistent posting frequency, aesthetic alignment, and timely campaigns.
Optimise posts with relevant tags, SEO-friendly captions, and creative formats.
4. Community Engagement
Respond promptly to comments, DMs, inquiries, and reviews.
Engage with followers, partners, and influencers to grow organic reach.
Build meaningful online relationships with potential leads, collaborators, and venue partners.
5. Campaigns & Collaborations
Plan and execute paid ad campaigns (Facebook/Instagram Ads, Google Ads if required).
Identify collaboration opportunities with influencers, event planners, venues, and wedding vendors.
Create campaigns for festive seasons, launches, and major events.
6. Analytics & Reporting
Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, impressions, CTR, conversions).
Prepare weekly & monthly reports to evaluate growth and ROI.
Suggest improvements based on insights.
7. Brand Responsibility
Maintain the luxurious, emotional storytelling tone of Pixzlwed.
Maintain the creative, professional branding tone of Pixzl.
Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s voice, values, and visual identity.
Key Skills Required
Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn).
Expertise in reels, short-form content, and trend-hijacking.
Graphic design skills (Canva/Photoshop/Illustrator).
Video editing skills (basic reels editing in Premiere Pro/CapCut preferred).
Strong copywriting and storytelling ability.
An analytical mindset for tracking performance.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills (English, Hindi, Odia preferred).
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media, or related field.
1–3 years of proven experience in social media management (agency or in-house).
Performance KPIs
Consistent posting (minimum 20–25 posts/reels per month per brand).
Growth in followers, engagement rate, and reach.
Leads generated through social media.
Quality of content (aesthetics, storytelling, brand tone).
Timeliness of campaigns and reports.
