Key Responsibilities:

• Social Media Strategy & Execution:

• Develop and execute creative and data-driven social media strategies to promote our podcasts across platforms like Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging audio-driven networks.

• Podcast Promotion:

• Work closely with podcast hosts, editors, and producers to craft compelling promotional content including audiograms, episode teasers, quote cards, and show summaries.

• Content Scheduling & Publishing:

• Manage a social calendar for podcast releases and related content, ensuring timely and optimized posts that align with peak engagement windows.

• Audience Engagement:

• Foster community interaction by responding to listener feedback, engaging with comments, and tracking sentiment to guide content decisions.

• Analytics & SEO:

• Monitor key performance metrics (downloads, engagement, reach, shares) and leverage SEO best practices to increase discoverability of podcasts on both social and search platforms.

• Collaboration:

• Coordinate with editorial, video, design, and audio teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in social media management, preferably in news/media/podcasting.
• Strong understanding of social media trends, content formats, and platform-specific nuances.
• Experience in podcast marketing, distribution, or production is a must.
• Solid understanding of SEO, especially how it applies to podcasts and multimedia content.
• Proficient in using tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva, Headliner, Adobe Creative Suite, Chartable, Podbean, etc.
• Strong copywriting skills with a flair for catchy headlines and hooks.
• Newsroom or digital publishing experience is highly preferred.
• Passion for audio storytelling, current affairs, and innovative digital content.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with podcast analytics tools (Spotify for Podcasters, Apple Podcasts Connect, etc.)
• Knowledge of paid social media campaigns and influencer outreach.
• Experience with video clips or audiogram creation for social.
