Job Description

Social Media Assistant

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, etc.).
Support in writing captions, selecting visuals, and developing basic graphics or reels.
Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions; respond promptly and professionally.
Track engagement metrics and prepare performance reports.
Research industry trends, competitor activities, and creative ideas for campaigns.
Coordinate with marketing, design, and other internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
Help manage the social media content calendar to ensure regular posting.
Assist with basic video editing, reel creation, and story updates.
Support social media campaigns, giveaways, and community engagement initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field (preferred).
1-2 years of experience in social media or digital marketing (internship experience acceptable).
Strong understanding of current social media trends, formats, and best practices.
Basic knowledge of Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, or similar tools.
Good communication skills and creative thinking.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn.
