Industry: Cloud Data Analytics & Enterprise Consulting Sector: Data Platform Modernization & Managed Services Location: On-site, India Role & Responsibilities Administer and optimize Snowflake clusters: warehouses, databases, schemas, roles, RBAC, and resource monitors for 24×7 production workloads. Implement data loading, transformation, and backup strategies using Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Time-Travel to ensure zero-data-loss SLAs. Monitor query performance, identify bottlenecks, and fine-tune warehouse sizing, clustering keys, and caching policies for cost and latency targets. Harden security posture through network policies, encryption, multi-factor authentication, and integration with Okta/AD for single sign-on. Automate environment provisioning, code deployment, and compliance reporting via Terraform, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with Data Engineers and BI teams to troubleshoot ingestion pipelines and deliver best-practice guidance on Snowflake features and releases. Skills & Qualifications Must-Have 3+ years dedicated Snowflake administration in production. Expertise in SQL, data modelling, and warehouse design principles. Hands-on with Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, Time-Travel, and Fail-Safe. Proven experience setting up RBAC, network policies, and encryption. Proficiency in Python or Shell for automation plus Git-based workflows. Preferred Certification: SnowPro Core or Advanced Architect. Exposure to AWS/GCP/Azure storage integrations and Kafka/Fivetran connectors. Knowledge of observability stacks like Snowflake Alerts, Splunk, or Datadog.
