Job Description: As a Snowflake Admin with 6+ years of experience and the ability to join immediately, you will be responsible for administering and managing Snowflake environments. This includes configuring, ensuring security, and conducting maintenance tasks. Your role will involve monitoring and optimizing Snowflake performance, storage usage, and query efficiency to enhance overall system functionality. In this position, you will be required to implement and manage role-based access control (RBAC) and data security policies to safeguard sensitive information. Additionally, you will set up and oversee data sharing, data replication, and virtual warehouses to support various data operations effectively. You will be expected to automate administrative tasks using SQL, Snowflake CLI, or scripting languages such as Python and Bash. Your proficiency in these tools will be essential in streamlining processes and improving efficiency within the Snowflake environment. Furthermore, providing support for data integration tools and pipelines like Fivetran, dbt, Informatica, and Airflow will be part of your responsibilities.
