Site Supervisor

As a Site Supervisor, your role will involve inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards. You will be responsible for supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors, educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol, and enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries. In the event of site accidents, you will handle them in accordance with established accident protocol and maintain an accurate record of construction employee attendance. Key Responsibilities: - Inspect construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate safety hazards - Supervise and instruct the construction team and subcontractors - Educate site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol - Enforce site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries - Handle site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol - Maintain accurate records of construction employee attendance - Evaluate the performance of construction employees and institute disciplinary measures as needed - Analyze blueprints to ensure construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications - Recommend changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency Qualifications Required: - Completion of a post-secondary education construction training program - Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction science, civil engineering, or related field preferred - Proven experience working as a site supervisor - CPR and first aid certifications - Sound knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations - Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment - Ability to interpret blueprints - Outstanding leadership skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent organizational and communication skills Please note that the job type for this position is Full-time. Preferred education is a Bachelor's degree, with 1 year of total work experience preferred. Additionally, there is a willingness to travel up to 25%. The work location is required to be in person.,
