Job Description

Sephora is seeking an Associate Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support the reliability, scalability, and performance of our production systems. This is a junior-to-intermediate role focused on learning, operational support, automation, monitoring, and assisting senior SREs with day-to-day platform engineering tasks. Operations Reliability Support • Monitor production systems and respond to alerts, incidents, and service disruptions. • Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.

Support availability, performance, and reliability goals across services and applications. Automation Tooling • Build and enhance automation scripts for deployments, monitoring, and routine operational tasks. • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements under guidance from senior engineers. • Assist in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) activities where applicable.

Monitoring Observability • Work with dashboards, metrics, and log aggregation tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.). • Ensure alerts are actionable and improve signal-to-noise ratio. Cloud Platform Engineering • Support cloud infrastructure operations (AWS, GCP, or Azure—depending on team requirements). • Assist with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and basic cluster troubleshooting.

Help maintain configuration management and environment consistency.
