As a Senior Business Analyst/Consultant based in Gurugram, you will be responsible for gathering, verifying, and managing requirements for business intelligence initiatives. This includes conducting workshops and meetings with stakeholders to understand and document data and business processes effectively. Your role will involve creating and maintaining detailed documentation on requirements, design, and user manuals to ensure data model consistency and compliance with established standards. To excel in this position, you should have a solid background as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst in IT projects, or BI Analyst. Your ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa will be crucial. A problem-solving mindset and a track record of delivering business value are essential for success in this role. You are expected to have a strong command of SQL, along with a good understanding of Business Intelligence & Data Management processes, practices, and tools. Proficiency in Power BI and analytical cloud services is required to independently analyze data. Your expertise should also extend to designing data models using a layered architecture and a multidimensional approach. Effective communication and collaboration skills are key as you will be working in a team environment. Your independence and willingness to take responsibility for project deliverables will be highly valued in this role.
