Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Site Project Engineer with proven experience in metal crane rail projects, including installation, alignment, and maintenance. The role requires hands-on site management, technical problem-solving, and coordination to deliver projects safely, on time, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee installation, alignment, and welding of metal crane rails at project sites.

• Interpret and execute engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• Conduct precision alignment checks using total station, laser trackers, and other measuring tools.

• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and schedule requirements.

• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical and logistical challenges.

• Prepare daily progress reports, site documentation, and inspection records.

• Ensure proper material handling, storage, and usage in line with project needs.

• Enforce HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards on site.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of metal crane rail systems, including EOT cranes, gantry cranes, and rail welding techniques.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project / Primavera, and measurement equipment.

• Knowledge of QA/QC processes for crane rail works.

• Excellent troubleshooting and coordination skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Civil / Structural Engineering.

• 3–4 years of relevant site experience in metal crane rail projects or heavy steel erection.

• Familiarity with international standards (EN, DIN, ASTM, ISO) for crane rail systems is an advantage.
