Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Pipeline Systems: Supervise the trenching, shoring, pipe laying, jointing (welding/fusion), bedding, backfilling, and compaction for water, sewer, and process pipelines.
• Firefighting Systems: Direct the installation of fire pumps, sprinkler heads, risers, standpipes, hydrants, and associated control valves according to NFPA/local code requirements.
• Plumbing Systems: Oversee the installation of all domestic water supply lines (hot/cold), drainage, sanitary fittings, and fixture connections within the building structure.
• Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve site technical issues and clashes (especially between MEP and Civil/Structural elements) in consultation with the design team.

Responsible to work with Senior Engineer for the overall design of Plumbing & fire protection systems & deliverables, including Concept Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Tender Design / Documentation (including Technical Specifications, BOQ, Schedules and Drawings)

Ability to work independently on various calculations and layouts/schematic mark-ups as per project requirements

Having regular communication with the client and taking on design responsibilities on project types like commercial, residential, retail, laboratories & hospitals.

Ability to independently create Plumbing & fire protection design mark-ups and perform calculations

Qualification and Experience Required:

BE/BTech/ME/MTech degree in civil engineering or a related technical field

Minimum 2 years of experience in designing of Plumbing & Fire Protection systems for commercial, retail, hospital and residential projects, WTP, Pipeline, PHD Project.

Experience in design of water supply, sewerage and drainage systems including necessary calculations

Design of comprehensive underground sewerage and storm water systems. Sizing and selecting of location for STP & water tanks. Detail drawing layout for internal & external water and drainage system

Experience in fire protection systems design of sprinklers, external & internal hydrant system, fire pump & tank systems design, hydraulic calculations

Proven experience of having successfully managed Client communication.
