About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Shopify Developer (Freelancer) to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate should be skilled in developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify stores, with a keen eye for design, functionality, and performance optimization.

You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to bring e-commerce projects to life — from theme setup and app integration to troubleshooting and conversion optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Shopify themes to align with brand and design requirements.

• Build responsive, high-performance Shopify stores from scratch or by enhancing existing setups.

• Integrate third-party Shopify Apps, APIs, and custom functionalities.

• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and user experience.

• Implement advanced Shopify Liquid coding, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.

• Handle ongoing maintenance, testing, and bug fixes.

• Collaborate with designers and marketers to align store design with campaign goals.

• Manage store configuration — payment gateways, shipping setup, taxes, and inventory.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Shopify Development (freelance or agency preferred).

• Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• Experience in Shopify Plus, custom app development, and Shopify API integration is a plus.

• Familiarity with Shopify SEO best practices and analytics tools.

• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality output within deadlines.

• Strong communication and time management skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Figma / Adobe XD to Shopify conversions.

• Understanding of e-commerce UI/UX principles.

• Prior experience collaborating with marketing teams or digital agencies.
