Department: ProductionLocation: Initial Posting in Pirangut; Relocation to Shirwal after 3-4 months. (Must be ready to relocate immediately to Pirangut, and subsequently to Khandala after 3 months.)No of vacancies: - 5Salary Range: ₹ 4LPA – ₹ 5 LPA Qualifications: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.Experience: 4-5 yrsas a Shift In-charge in a manufacturing environment (Must be willing to work in rotational shifts).Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Shift Supervisor to lead and manage production activities during a designated shift in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of operators and contract labourers, ensuring the effective execution of production plans, adherence to safety and quality standards, and efficient utilization of resources. This role requires strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills to maintain productivity and support continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.Key Responsibilities: · Supervise and manage end-to-end production shift operations, ensuring adherence to daily schedules, production targets, and quality standards.· Effectively allocate tasks across departments including Welding and Assembly, while also overseeing operations in Laser, Bending, Punching, and Cutting, in alignment with the production plan.· Ensure continuous and smooth movement of materials between workstations to avoid bottlenecks.· Assign shift roles and responsibilities to operators based on priorities and dispatch schedules.· Monitor the availability of raw materials, components, and tools to prevent production delays.· Raise ERP requisition slips for welding and assembly requirements; coordinate with the store team to ensure timely issuance of parts.
