I. Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator & Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and development within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform to support our marketing and customer engagement initiatives.
Administration
II. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage Salesforce Marketing Cloud user accounts, roles, and permissions.
- Maintain and optimize Marketing Cloud data structures including Data Extensions, Lists, and Attribute Groups.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform integrity.
- Manage data imports, exports, and integrations with internal and external systems.
- Oversee data compliance and security standards, including GDPR and CAN-SPAM regulations.
- Provide training and support to marketing teams on Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools and processes.
Development
- Design, develop, and deploy email marketing campaigns using Email Studio.
- Build complex customer journeys using Journey Builder to drive personalized customer experiences.
- Develop and optimize AMPscript, SQL queries, and Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS) to automate processes and personalize content.
- Create and manage automation workflows via Automation Studio.
- Integrate Marketing Cloud with CRM and third-party platforms using APIs.
- Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and IT teams to analyse campaign effectiveness and improve engagement.

4+ years of professional experience.
IV. Educational Qualification & Certifications (Optional)
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Analytics or equivalent.
Required
V. Skill Set Required:
- 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator and Developer.
- Strong working knowledge of Marketing Cloud modules: Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, Audience Builder, Content Builder.
- Proficient in AMPscript, SQL, Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS), HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with API integrations and Marketing Cloud Connect.
- Understanding of data privacy laws and compliance standards.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification.
- Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I (required) and Platform Developer II (preferred).
Preferred
- Experience with Salesforce CRM.
- Knowledge of Marketing Cloud Einstein and AI-powered marketing tools.
- Background in digital marketing or marketing automation platforms.
Soft Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
- Previous experience working with eCommerce, retail, or telecom industries is a plus.
