Job Title: Sevilla Case: BFA

Role Description

Business Functional Analysis is responsible for business solution design in complex project environments (e.g. transformational programs). Work includes:

Identifying the full range of business requirements and translating requirements into specific functional specifications for solution development and implementation
Analyzing business requirements and the associated impacts of the changes
Designing and assisting businesses in developing optimal target state business processes
Creating and executing against roadmaps that focus on solution development and implementation
Answering questions of methodological approach with varying levels of complexity
Aligning with other key stakeholder groups (such as Project Management & Software Engineering) to support the link between the business divisions and the solution providers for all aspects of identifying, implementing and maintaining solutions

Your key responsibilities

Work with product owners to covert high level business requirements into technical stories / epics
Mentor the technical team through development, testing and production release phases
As part of the cards team for Germany, you will actively participate in the design and development of solutions aligned to business goals
You will be managing the implementation, jointly together with our vendors, supporting the testing activities and ensure a handover into production and to the L2-Support.
You will ensure, that the solution designs are aligned to our technical platform modernization strategy.
To ensure a stable and maintainable production environment, you will be the Subject Mater Expert.
In case of incidents and business requests, you will be actively involved in the incident and request analysis and drive the problem resolution.

Your skills and experience

Extensive experience working as BFA preferably in the banking domain, specifically cards
Knowledge of requirement elicitation techniques and tools
Ability to convert high level business requirements into technical stories / epics
Familiar with micro services hosted on Open Shift.
Familiar with Agile Team management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
Pro-active team player with good communication skills as well as good English language skills.
Experience with Agile/SCRUM environment including agile tooling and methodology
