About the Role
We re seeking a Partner Technical Enablement Specialist with a passion for training, coaching, and simplifying complex technologies for diverse partner audiences. This role plays a critical part in building partner technical competencies, accelerating their adoption of the JumpCloud platform, and ultimately ensuring mutual success through scalable, high-impact training engagements.
In this role, your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and delivering technical training programs for our partners. These programs are crucial for improving technical understanding, building confidence, and fostering growth throughout our partner ecosystem. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, trainer, and consultant, guiding partners through their onboarding journey with JumpCloud.
You will:
- Deliver live and asynchronous technical training sessions to partner technical teams, such as sales engineering, implementation, and support to enable their success in deploying JumpCloud for customers.
- Design and maintain scalable technical training programs tailored to partner use cases, including onboarding curricula, migration guides, certification prep, and best practices.
- Facilitate discovery sessions to understand partner capabilities, gaps, and learning goals customizing training content and delivery accordingly.
- Ensure a high-quality customer experience by supporting partners during their initial client deployments.
- Collaborate with Partner Account Managers and Channel teams to align training strategies with business objectives, certifications, and enablement milestones.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in JumpCloud architecture, identity and device management, and integrations enabling partners to handle customer engagements confidently.
- Conduct workshops and hands-on labs to simulate real-world scenarios (migration, integration, troubleshooting).
- Participate in the creation of technical enablement resources, such as knowledge base articles, how-to videos, lab guides, and certification assessments.
- Gather feedback from partner engagements to improve training materials and evolve enablement approaches to better serve the ecosystem.
- Measure partner readiness through skills assessments, certification attainment, and training participation metrics.
- Act as an advocate for partner needs internally, contributing to product roadmap insights, documentation improvements, and partner support initiatives.
- Develop and implement metrics for partner technical capabilities, offering valuable insights to partners and leadership regarding their resource capabilities.
Its important that this person possess deep knowledge in:
- Active Directory, AzureAD, and Google Workspace administration
- SSO, SCIM, SAML, OIDC, and LDAP integrations
- Device Management (Windows, macOS, Linux, MDM)
- Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
- Scripting (PowerShell preferred)
You are someone who:
- Brings 5+ years of experience in SaaS technical enablement, professional services, or IT solution consulting roles.
- Thrives on teaching and empowering others through technical training, with an ability to simplify and communicate complex topics clearly.
- Has a strong partner-centric mindset, and enjoys helping others grow their skills and deliver value to mutual customers.
- Has previous JumpCloud expertise or equivalent experience in identity management platforms (Okta, Active Directory, AzureAD, etc.).
- Demonstrates experience working with or for MSPs, resellers, VARs, or systems integrators in a technical training or consulting capacity.
- Is familiar with training tools and formats including LMS platforms, virtual labs, webinars, and certification programs.
- Has strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Travel Expectation: 10 to 20% of the work might require the person to travel for onsite training.
