Job Description

Responsibilities  Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software.  Monitor server performance and ensure system availability and reliability.  Perform regular system updates and patches to maintain security and performance.  Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.  Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues promptly.  Implement and maintain security protocols to protect server and network infrastructure.  Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.  Respond to security incidents and breaches, conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions.  Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.  Perform regular backups and test recovery processes.  Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.  Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.  Participate in IT projects, including server and network upgrades and migrations.  Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to ensure successful project implementation.  Monitor server and network performance using appropriate tools and technologies.  Generate regular reports on system performance, uptime, and security status.  Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in server and network administration. Requirements  Proven experience as a Server Administrator with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.  Strong knowledge of server hardware and operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux).  Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).  Proficiency in network administration and troubleshooting.  Familiarity with security best practices and protocols.  Experience with backup and recovery solutions.  Solid understanding of the full server management lifecycle.  Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.  Excellent communication and collaboration skills.  Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.  Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.  Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Cisco CCNA) are a plus.
