Job Description

Designation: ServiceNow Backend Developer

(ITOM & CMDB)

Experience: 4-6 Years

Location: Chennai

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM & CMDB Developer to design, implement, and maintain ITOM solutions, including CMDB, discovery, service mapping, and integrations. The candidate should bring expertise in optimizing ITOM functionalities to improve configuration management, operational efficiency, and IT service reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and manage ServiceNow Discovery and Event Management.
Manage and enhance the CMDB, ensuring data integrity and compliance with CSDM.
Build integrations with external systems (REST, SOAP, APIs).
Develop custom discovery patterns, workflows, and tailored solutions.
Work within an Agile/Scrum framework and collaborate with stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

Proven ServiceNow ITOM expertise (Discovery, Event Management).
Strong CMDB lifecycle knowledge.
Hands-on integration experience with REST/SOAP/APIs.
Proficiency in JavaScript.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and CSDM.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Agent Client Collector (ACC).
Event Management integrations with third-party monitoring tools.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication abilities.
Team-oriented and proactive mindset.
