Job Overview

ServiceNow Developer


Key Responsibilities

ServiceNow Development & Customization

  • Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and catalog items
  • Configure UI policies, client scripts, business rules, ACLs, and forms
  • Build and enhance workflows using

    Flow Designer

    and

    IntegrationHub

  • Follow ServiceNow best practices and platform governance standards


SAP Integration

  • Implement and support integrations between ServiceNow and

    SAP ECC / S4HANA

  • Work with

    REST/SOAP APIs, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs

    , and middleware (SAP PI/PO, CPI, or equivalent)
  • Ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance data exchange
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues during development and UAT


Workflow Automation & Process Enablement

  • Automate enterprise workflows such as vendor onboarding, procurement, asset lifecycle, and HR/IT service processes
  • Collaborate with SAP functional and business teams to align workflows and approvals


Documentation & Handover

  • Prepare technical documentation, integration flows, and configuration details
  • Support UAT, go-live activities, and knowledge transfer at project closure


Required Skills & Experience

  • 4–8+ years of hands-on

    ServiceNow development

    experience
  • Strong knowledge of

    JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub

  • Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with SAP systems
  • Understanding of SAP modules such as

    MM, FI, HR, or Vendor Management

  • Experience working on

    time-bound delivery projects


Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow CSA / CAD certifications
  • Experience with SAP PI/PO or CPI
  • Knowledge of ITIL and Agile delivery
