The role is execution-focused, involves no design or architecture ownership, and requires on-site presence during implementation and go-live phases. Key Responsibilities Implement and configure VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS). Deploy and manage VMware Cloud Foundation using SDDC Manager. Install and configure VMware Aria Suite (Aria Operations, Aria Automation, Aria Logs) as per provided designs. Configure vSAN and NSX-T components strictly as per approved configurations. Execute upgrades, migrations, and cutover activities. Perform post-implementation validation, health checks, and defect resolution. Validate monitoring, automation, and logging integrations. Prepare as-built documentation and conduct KT / handover. Work on-site during implementation and go-live phases. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere (6.x / 7.x / 8.x) Proven VCF implementation experience Hands-on exposure to VMware Aria Suite (Operations, Automation, Logs) Working knowledge of vSAN, NSX-T, and SDDC Manager Experience with VMware upgrades and patching Basic PowerCLI for execution and validation tasks Travel Requirement 50–70% travel, depending on project phase Flexibility to work from customer sites and during cutover windows Preferred Certifications VMware VCP-DCV (Preferred) Aria / VCF / vSAN / NSX certifications (Good to have)
