Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Architect with advanced expertise in IT Operations Management (ITOM). The ideal candidate will design, architect, and implement scalable ITOM solutions, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB strategies, to enable intelligent operations and seamless integrations across enterprise IT ecosystems.This is a senior, client-facing role requiring strong technical depth, solution design expertise, and leadership skills to align technology with business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
ITOM Architecture & Design :
- Architect and lead the implementation of ITOM modules : Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Operational Intelligence.
- Define CMDB architecture, CI classes, relationships, and dependency maps ensuring accuracy, completeness, and maintainability.
- Develop high-level solution designs and low-level technical documentation to support implementation and future & Automation :
- Integrate ServiceNow ITOM with external monitoring tools, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), network management, and asset management solutions.
- Lead MID Server design and deployment, including high-availability configurations and security considerations.
- Develop orchestration workflows leveraging PowerShell, REST, SOAP, SSH, and ServiceNow APIs.
- Build automation scripts using JavaScript, Glide scripting, and ServiceNow Flow Designer to reduce manual tasks and improve operational & Best Practices :
- Align solutions with ITIL v3/v4 frameworks, enterprise architecture standards, and ServiceNow best practices.
- Ensure CMDB data quality, governance, and ongoing maintenance strategies.
- Provide architectural guidance for enterprise-wide ServiceNow adoption and ITOM capability & Project Collaboration :
- Engage with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into architectural blueprints.
- Work closely with development teams, administrators, and integration partners to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and technical Skills & Experience : Expertise :
- Proven hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
- Deep understanding of CMDB design, CI lifecycle management, and relationship mapping.
- Strong knowledge of MID Server architecture and orchestration capabilities.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, REST/SOAP integrations, and automation & Process Knowledge :
- Strong familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise IT service management best (Mandatory) :
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- At least one of the following :
- Certified Implementation Specialist ITOM Discovery
- Certified Implementation Specialist ITOM Service Qualifications :
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Exposure to Service Graph Connectors, ITOM Visibility, and CMDB integrations.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with distributed teams
