Job Description

Role Overview: As a Service Manager, your main role will be to ensure high-quality customer service and satisfaction. This includes handling customer complaints, queries, and escalations promptly, maintaining strong customer relationships, and conducting periodic customer feedback surveys to implement improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Overseeing the daily operations of the service department and workshop, including allocating job cards, monitoring technician productivity, ensuring timely completion and delivery of vehicles after service/repairs, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized service area. - Leading, guiding, and motivating service advisors, technicians, and support staff by assigning tasks, monitoring performance against KPIs, conducting training, and ensuring adherence to company policies and SOPs. - Achieving service department revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction targets by controlling costs, managing resources effectively, preparing and reviewing budgets and reports, and monitoring spare parts usage, billing, and inventory levels. - Ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards, warranty policies, dealership guidelines, and legal and safety regulations by maintaining accurate service records, job cards, and invoices. - Monitoring and reporting service KPIs such as service revenue, customer satisfaction index, technician productivity, repeat repair ratio, and spare parts sales contribution. Reporting performance to senior management with recommendations for improvement. Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in service department management or a related field. - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Excellent organizational and time management abilities. - Proficiency in financial management and budgeting. - Knowledge of automotive service operations and technical aspects. - Understanding of compliance and documentation requirements.
