Service Engineer

Position Overview A Service Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment or systems for clients. The role ensures smooth operation, timely troubleshooting, and high customer satisfaction through technical expertise and on-site support. Position: Service Engineer Location: U.P. Exp: 1-2 yr. Key Responsibilities 1. Installation & Commissioning·         Install and commission equipment, machinery, or systems as per company guidelines. Conduct testing and ensure systems meet performance standards. 2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting·         Perform routine preventive maintenance to reduce downtime. Diagnose technical issues and carry out corrective actions. Respond to customer complaints and resolve problems promptly. 3. Service Documentation·         Prepare service reports, maintenance logs, and checklists. Document issues, repairs, and parts replacement accurately. 4. Customer Support·         Provide technical guidance and product training to customers. Maintain professional communication and ensure customer satisfaction. 5. Coordination·         Coordinate with internal teams—sales, operations, and technical support. Update concerned departments about site issues or material requirements. 6. Safety Compliance·         Follow safety protocols and ensure safe working practices on-site. Ensure tools, equipment, and PPE are used appropriately. Required Skills & Qualifications·         Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics Engineering (as relevant). 1–3 years of experience in service or field support. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Ability to read technical drawings and manuals. Good communication and customer-handling skills. Willingness to travel and work on-field. Preferred Skills·         Experience with solar systems / electrical systems / industrial machinery (customizable). Knowledge of testing instruments and tools. Basic computer skills for reporting. Work Environment·         Field-based role with frequent travel. May require working in outdoor or industrial environments.
