Service Engineer

Job Title: Service Engineer & Technical Product Demonstrator
Department: Service & Technical Support
Location: Chennai (with field visits across Tamil Nadu)
Reporting To: Service Manager / Business Owner

Job Summary:The Service Engineer & Technical Product Demonstrator will be responsible for providing after-sales service, installation, troubleshooting, and technical demonstrations of industrial hardware products such as power tools, Airless spray system, welding equipment, valves, and safety products. The role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on service skills, and the ability to interact with customers to provide effective solutions and training.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Bosch power tools (electric, cordless, and measuring tools).
• Carry out preventive maintenance, servicing, and calibration of tools as per Bosch standards.
• Handle warranty claims and maintain proper service documentation.
• Ensure timely turnaround of repairs to meet customer expectations.
• Maintain service tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
• Provide technical support and demonstrations to customers when required.
• Coordinate with Bosch service teams for updates, training, and escalations.
• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate job records.

Qualifications & Skills

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in servicing power tools, small machines, Airless Spray System or electrical equipment (Bosch service experience preferred).
• Knowledge on Microsoft office - xl - word etc.,
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of hand tools, measuring instruments, and repair techniques.
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
