Service Desk Engineer

As a Service Desk Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to handle incoming IT support requests via phone, email, chat, or in-person. You will be required to log, track, and manage incidents and requests using an ITSM system. In case of complex issues, you will need to identify and escalate them to the appropriate IT teams or specialists. Effective communication with users, providing timely updates, and documenting resolutions will be crucial aspects of your role. Additionally, you may be involved in basic system administration tasks such as password resets, account unlocks, and software installations. It is essential to maintain accurate records of all interactions, resolutions, and generate reports accordingly.
