A Service Administrator provides crucial administrative and customer support, coordinating service requests, managing workflows, handling billing/paperwork, and ensuring customer satisfaction, often in auto shops or IT departments, acting as a bridge between customers, service managers, and technical teams to keep operations smooth and efficient. They handle everything from scheduling and processing orders to resolving complaints and managing service-related data, using tools like CRM systems. Key Responsibilities Customer Interaction: Greet customers, answer inquiries (phone/email), and resolve issues. Workflow Management: Coordinate appointments, manage work orders, and track service requests from start to finish. Administrative Tasks: Prepare invoices, process payments, maintain records, manage diaries, and handle general office duties. Coordination: Liaise with service managers, technical staff, and other departments (sales, support). Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify operational improvements.
