SEO Specialist

The Role

We are looking for a data-driven SEO Specialist to take ownership of organic growth for our e-commerce platform. You will be responsible for managing the SEO strategy for our extensive product catalog, ensuring our thousands of SKUs are visible, indexed, and ranking.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands the technical complexities of large websites (crawl budgets, faceted navigation, canonicalization) and knows how to drive transactional traffic.

Key Responsibilities

• Catalog Management: Optimize large-scale product catalogs, ensuring proper site architecture, internal linking, and hierarchy.
• On-Page Optimization: Create and optimize meta tags, product descriptions, and category pages based on high-intent keyword research.
• Technical SEO: Conduct regular site audits using tools like Screaming Frog. Fix crawl errors, broken links, 404s, and optimize Core Web Vitals.
• Schema & Rich Snippets: Implement and manage Product, Review, and FAQ schema markup to improve CTR.
• Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to identify content gaps and blog opportunities that drive top-of-funnel traffic.
• Reporting: Monitor traffic and ranking performance using Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console. Provide weekly/monthly reports on ROI.
• Competitor Analysis: Keep a close watch on competitor strategies and pricing visibility in search results.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience managing SEO for e-commerce websites (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or Custom builds).
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of faceted navigation, canonical tags, pagination, and crawl budget management.
• Tool Proficiency: Expert knowledge of SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Screaming Frog.
• Basic Coding: Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JavaScript (ability to read code and guide developers).
• Excel/Sheets: Strong proficiency in handling large datasets (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) for keyword mapping.

Work Schedule & Culture

• Working Days: Monday to Saturday (6-day work week).
