Job Summary:

We are seeking driven and detail-oriented SEO Interns, preferably with backgrounds in marketing, business, or digital media. Ideal candidates are analytical, curious, and passionate about search trends, content strategy, and technical SEO. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a talented marketing team and contribute to increasing Kanerika’s organic visibility using modern, AI-integrated SEO strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct keyword research and AI-powered keyword clustering to uncover content and ranking opportunities

• Support implementation of on-page SEO including metadata, internal linking, headers, schema markup, and more

• Use tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and WordPress SEO plugins.

• Assist in geo-targeted and local SEO strategies, including Google Business Profile optimization

• Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) for content optimization and strategy

• Monitor and report SEO performance using Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console

• Stay up to date on evolving search trends including Search Generative Experience (SGE), E-E-A-T, Core Web Vitals, and mobile-first indexing

• Collaborate with content writers, developers, and marketing leads to align SEO best practices across channels

Qualifications Educational Background:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Computer Science, or related fields

Experience:

• Demonstrated interest in SEO through academic work, blogs, freelance projects, or internships

• Basic understanding of SEO principles (on-page, off-page, technical) and keyword research

• Experience with AI or automation tools for marketing is a plus Skills: • Strong analytical and research abilities

• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush

• Exposure to CMS platforms like WordPress and SEO plugins

• Proactive, eager to learn, and detail-oriented

• Excellent written and verbal communication

Technical Proficiency:

• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress)

• Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Google Analytics)

• Familiarity with AI tools for SEO and content is a plus
