Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in: English, Technical Communication Computer Science, Engineering, or IT (especially for writing in technical domains) Preferred: Courses or certifications in Technical Writing, Information Architecture, or UX Writing Professional Certifications (Optional but Valuable): HubSpot Content Marketing Certification Copyblogger Certified Content Marketer Google Digital Garage – Content Marketing Certified Technical Writer (CTW) – Society for Technical Communication (STC) Technical Writing Certificate – Coursera, Udemy, or university-based programs MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or DITA XML training (for structured writing) Required Experience: 1–3 years of experience in: Blog and article writing SEO content and keyword research Copywriting for websites, ads, or social media Working with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) Key Skills Required: Excellent written communication and grammar Strong research skills Attention to detail Ability to adapt tone and style to audience Content Writer-Specific Skills: SEO best practices Copywriting and storytelling Keyword research and content strategy Experience with WordPress, Grammarly, SurferSEO, etc. Ability to simplify complex topics Knowledge of technical domain Soft Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Curiosity and willingness to learn technical or domain-specific topics Receptive to feedback and revisions Show more Show less
