Job Description

Job Summary:

The SEO Analyst is responsible for improving a company's organic search rankings and increasing web traffic by implementing various SEO strategies. This role involves conducting keyword research, analyzing website performance data, staying up-to-date with search engine algorithms, and providing recommendations to optimize content, website structure, and user experience. The SEO Analyst will work closely with content creators, marketing teams, and web developers to achieve measurable improvements in search engine performance and organic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Keyword Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct keyword research to identify target terms and phrases to optimize content for search engines.
  • Analyze and recommend appropriate keywords based on search volume, competition, and relevance to business objectives.

2. On-Page SEO Optimization:

  • Optimize website content, including titles, meta descriptions, headers, and internal links for improved search visibility.
  • Ensure the website is mobile-friendly and follows best practices for speed, structure, and user experience.

3. Off-Page SEO & Link Building:

  • Implement link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from authoritative sources.
  • Monitor backlink profiles and ensure the removal of spammy or harmful links.

4. SEO Audits:

  • Perform regular SEO audits of websites to identify technical SEO issues, content gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with web developers to fix technical issues like broken links, page load speed, mobile usability, and crawl errors.

5. Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Track and analyze website performance metrics, including organic traffic, search rankings, click-through rates (CTR), and conversion rates using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
  • Create regular reports to communicate results, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.

6. Content Optimization & Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to ensure content is optimized for search engines while maintaining a user-first approach.
  • Provide SEO guidelines and recommendations during content creation to improve search visibility.

7. Competitor Analysis:

  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify SEO trends, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Stay informed about competitors' SEO strategies, new search trends, and algorithm changes.

8. Stay Updated on SEO Trends:

  • Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO best practices, search engine algorithm changes, and industry trends.
  • Adapt strategies based on the latest SEO developments to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Marketing, IT, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in SEO, SEM, or digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Google Analytics Certification or similar SEO certifications.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
