Senor PLC SACDA Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• PLC/HMI/SCADA Programming for various applications and various sectors like Mining, O&G, Power, Pharma, Automotive etc.
• Design and develop Industrial automation applications for discrete, process and hybrid Manufacturing.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to provide Industrial Automation solutions for Digital Manufacturing.
• Assure all design & project work is completed in compliance with all Regulatory requirements, Quality, Engineering design requirements & procedures.

Mandatory skills:

• Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 5 to 10 years experience in Industrial Automation area.
• Experience in working with various Automation OEM or Systems Integrators – PLC controllers like -Rockwell/Siemens/Schneider/Codesys etc.
• Knowledge of PLC programming, configuration of SCADA software packages, display building, database creation, testing and report generation.
• Experience in providing the network architecture for connectivity of PLC/DCS/OPC/HMI for software integration
• Experience in various SCADA platforms such as – AVEVA Plant SCADA 2020, Citect, GE Proficy, Wonderware, Siemens Win CC, RA Factory Talk
• Must have good knowledge on Communication and SCADA protocols like IEC101, IEC104, MODBUS and DNP
• Understanding of single line diagrams (SLD) of substations, I/O list.
• Expertise in Industrial automation - Best Practices, Industry Standards and integration methodologies
• Knowledge regarding concepts Smart Factories and Industry 4.0 is considered as plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Visio).

Under general supervision, develops, codes, test, and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software customers. Requires good understanding of business application. Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements from customers. May assist in development of software user manuals. Demonstrates software.
