Zylife Smartcare is a dynamic Healthcare IT company dedicated to developing innovative software and web solutions for the healthcare sector. We are looking for a highly creative and experienced Senior Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on expert in major CMS and eCommerce platforms, possesses a strong design sensibility, and can drive complex projects from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities

● Full-Cycle Website Development: Take ownership of website development projects from initial concept and design (wireframing/mockups) to final deployment and maintenance.

● CMS & eCommerce Mastery: Expertly build, customize, and maintain high-quality websites using:

○ WordPress/WooCommerce: Developing custom themes and plugins, advanced configuration, performance optimization, and integrating third-party APIs.

○ Shopify: Designing and developing custom themes (using Liquid), managing store setup, and implementing custom features and integrations for a seamless shopping experience.

● Custom Development & Functionality: Design and implement custom functionalities, including building WordPress plugins from scratch to meet unique business needs.

● Creative Design & UX/UI: Apply deep knowledge of current popular design patterns (e.g., bold typography, micro-interactions, dark mode, complex hero areas, ethical/accessible design) to create modern, highly engaging, and user-friendly websites. Creativity is a key skill.

● Client Management & Communication: Serve as a technical point of contact, communicating effectively with clients to gather requirements, present solutions, and manage expectations through the entire project lifecycle.

● Debugging & Maintenance: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex functional issues, security vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks on existing websites.

● Digital Strategy & Optimization: Implement best practices for Digital Marketing integration, including SEO (Search Engine Optimization), SMO (Social Media Optimization), and GEO (Geotargeting) to ensure high visibility and performance for all web properties.

Required Skills and Experience

● Experience: 3-4 years of professional experience in end-to-end web development.

● Technical Expertise (Must-Have):

○ Deep proficiency in WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify.

○ Strong command of HTML5, CSS3/Sass/Less, JavaScript (Vanilla/ES6+), and PHP.

○ Experience with modern front-end tools/frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, React.js/Vue.js is a plus).

○ Familiarity with essential web development tools (Git/GitHub/GitLab, VS Code, Chrome DevTools).

● Design & Creativity: Proven track record of delivering creatively exceptional website designs that align with current industry standards and UX/UI best practices.

● Project Delivery: Demonstrated ability to independently manage and deliver multiple projects successfully, including experience working with known brand names (please highlight in portfolio/CV).

● Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients to translate business goals into technical requirements and elegant web solutions.
