We are seeking a UX Designer to lead design for 7NOW.com's customer-facing experience. You will focus on creating frictionless shopping journeys, from browsing and product discovery to checkout and delivery tracking. The ideal candidate combines e-commerce expertise with strong design execution and a customer-first mindset.

The ideal candidate has proven experience collaborating with US-based onshore teams and is highly familiar with the onshore/offshore delivery model, ensuring smooth coordination, effective communication, and alignment across global stakeholders. Along with deep e-commerce expertise and strong design execution skills, you will bring a customer-first mindset to everything you design.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end UX design of 7NOW.com, including product discovery, personalization, cart, checkout, and delivery tracking flows.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers in US to define requirements and create user-centered design solutions.
  • Design wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and polished visual mockups using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Conduct and analyze usability testing, A/B testing, and customer interviews to continuously improve the shopping experience.
  • Partner with research and analytics teams to identify pain points and opportunities in the customer journey.
  • Lead bi-weekly design sprints, driving ideation, rapid prototyping, and validation cycles to accelerate product delivery.
  • Ensure all designs meet accessibility (ADA/WCAG) compliance and responsive design best practices.
  • Contribute to 7-Eleven's design system to maintain consistency across platforms.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level designers in the India team.

Education & Key Skills Required:

  • 7-10 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a portfolio showcasing e-commerce websites, retail, or consumer apps.
  • Expert in Figma and proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, After Effects, etc.).
  • Strong experience with usability testing, A/B testing, customer interviews, and research tools (e.g., Maze, UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Lookback).
  • Deep understanding of e-commerce UX patterns, including product search, filtering, checkout flows, loyalty/rewards, and payment integrations.
  • Strong grasp of user-centered design, accessibility, and responsive web design principles.
  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments with global cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to present and defend design decisions.

Desired Competencies

  • Experience designing for large-scale global e-commerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with loyalty/rewards programs and personalization features.
  • Knowledge of analytics and experimentation tools (GA, Mixpanel, Optimizely, Adobe Analytics).
