Senior Payroll Associate

This role is all about ownership. As a Senior Payroll Associate, you’ll be the go-to person for delivering accurate, on-time payroll for a range of clients - ensuring everything runs smoothly, every cycle. You’ll follow defined processes with precision, raise flags early, and keep learning as you grow. You’ll report to a Team Leader and work closely with a collaborative team that’s got your back.

What You’ll Do

• Manage monthly payroll updates—everything from personal data changes to contract amendments
• Run payrolls (monthly, weekly, bi-weekly) across multiple clients and states - processing 750+ payslips with accuracy and speed
• Handle off-cycle payments, reversals, and one-off adjustments with care
• Ensure full compliance with federal and state payroll laws
• Complete all post-payroll activities on time (so no one’s paycheck is late)
• Actively troubleshoot issues and resolve them before they escalate
• Participate in training, feedback sessions, and team huddles to stay sharp

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in

  UK payroll

• Strong English communication - both written and spoken
• A self-starter with integrity, focus, and a proactive mindset
• Comfortable working under deadlines and managing high volumes
• A structured, detail-oriented way of working
• Team player who can also work independently
• Solid Microsoft Excel skills - you don’t have to be a wizard, but confidence with formulas is key
