Job Description

As part of your role reporting to the Head of Product Integrity Europe function in Compression at Siemens Energy, your responsibilities include: - Support the resolution of urgent technical issues, including Root Cause Analysis and resolution of technical non-conformance issues such as compressor performance. - Prepare comprehensive RCA reports and management briefings to ensure transparency and lessons learned within the organization. - Conduct fact-finding on customer sites, analyze remote diagnostics, evaluate operational issues on-site, and initiate vital corrective and preventive actions. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for fast issue resolution and knowledge transfer. - Assume a technical leadership role for assigned projects, handle customer interactions, and lead the team from a technical resolution standpoint. - Work closely with technical authorities in other Product Integrity regions. - Provide feedback to the Product Improvement Process (PIP) to address Operational Issues (OI), Technical Issues (TI), and Significant Field Issues (SFI). Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or aerospace engineering. - Proven experience in rotating equipment design, controls design, compressor testing, site commissioning, technical issue resolution, and service-related activities. - Experience in leading Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and relevant methodologies such as Fault Tree Analysis and Kepner Tregoe. - Experience in the design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support of compressors and associated equipment. - Track record of resolving technical issues across a large organization and developing solutions for technical customer issues. - Willingness to travel internationally to share experience gained in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industry. - Ability to work and interact directly with customers in a high-pressure environment.
