As the Technical Specialist in the Compression Business at Siemens Energy, you will be reporting to the Head of Product Integrity Europe. Your primary responsibility will be to address urgent technical issues within the organization, including customer sites. Your role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to effectively communicate technical matters to non-technical senior management of customers. This position offers you the opportunity to have a direct impact on shaping the future of decarbonization for industrial clients and contributing to Siemens Energy's sustainable vision. You will play a crucial role in resolving customer issues by conducting Root Cause Analysis and addressing technical non-conformance problems such as compressor performance issues. Your tasks will include preparing detailed RCA reports, providing management briefings, and ensuring transparency and organizational learning. You will be involved in on-site investigations, remote diagnostics analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to resolve operational challenges. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is essential for prompt issue resolution and knowledge sharing across regions. As a Technical Specialist, you will lead assigned projects, manage technical resolutions, and engage with customers in dynamic environments. Your role will involve working closely with technical experts in other Product Integrity regions and contributing feedback to the Product Improvement Process. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or aerospace engineering, or equivalent experience in related fields. Your background should include expertise in rotating equipment design, controls design, compressor testing, site commissioning, and service-related activities. Experience in leading Root Cause Analyses and familiarity with methodologies like Fault Tree Analysis and Kepner Tregoe will be beneficial. You should also have a proven track record of resolving technical issues across large organizations and be willing to travel internationally to engage with customers in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industry.
