Job Purpose:

We are looking for an enterprising, energetic and self-driven professional with passion towards social impact. This role will be a key in diversifying GCC’s donor base as well as strategic partnerships, while sustaining trusted relationships with existing funders.   Candidate needs to have a problem-solving approach, be able and willing work in a fast-paced environment and be highly accountable and outcome driven. An outgoing personality, passion about working in the social sector, and willingness to learn is key. 

This full-time position involves the development and execution of strategic CSR initiatives that align with our mission to support NGOs and social causes through partnerships with corporates, brands, restaurants, and individuals.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing sustainable social impact charity events, evaluating their effectiveness, and ensuring they align with our organizational values.

Charity events:

·      Connect with companies who can support GCC’s events (Funfair for underprivileged kids, Shop for Humanity, Wag & Walk, customized events).

·      Develop/implement and manage the engagement strategy for High Net-Worth Individuals and Corporates leads.

·      Research, identify and cultivate potential corporate clients. 

·      Develop new and nurture existing corporate client relationships.

·      Support the development and successful implementation of short, medium and long-term strategies for raising sponsorship.

·      Analyze new growth potentials, scale up proven strategies and introduce innovative CSR based events.

·      Coordinate with corporate partners to create and execute joint CSR initiatives.

·      Assess and measure the impact of CSR events on communities and stakeholders.

·      Work on presentations, budgets, proposals related to curating events

Work related to our partnered NGOs/ CSR Consultancy:

·      Identify and manage strategic philanthropic initiatives of the NGOs for which we are working.

·      Engage with community groups and NGOs to foster collaboration and build strong relationships.

·      Create and manage content, including reports and presentations, proposals to showcase CSR efforts

Qualifications/ Skills:

·      (For Senior Team Lead) Minimum of 4+ years in CSR, sustainability, fundraising or related role along with a Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree from a reputed college in the field of commerce/ humanities/ social work.

·      (For Team Lead) Minimum of 2+ years in CSR, sustainability, fundraising or related role along with a Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree from a reputed college in the field of commerce/ humanities/ social work.

·      Strong network/ knowledge of existing CSR and HNI donors (a huge plus) 

·      Strong analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking skills 

·      Ability to be a self-starter and think proactively

·      Expertise in developing and implementing sustainability strategies aligned with corporate values.

·      Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a member of a team

·      In-depth knowledge of corporate governance principles and their application to CSR activities.

·      Proven experience in collaborating with community groups and fostering partnerships with corporates.

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·      Plan and prioritise own workload and work without close supervision

·      Knowledge of Canva in a plus (This role may also require managing development of fundraising/partnership oriented collaterals, events as required)

·      Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

·      Proficiency in Excel, Canva, and Powerpoint.

·      Must have your own laptop.

The post holder will be expected to attend meetings and be involved in other activities as and when required.
