Senior Specialist

As a Senior T&A, Kronos, and GL Specialist at bp, you will play a vital role in providing guidance and information to both bp employees and People, Culture & Communications (PC&C) on complex employee process and data changes within the designated area and processes, particularly focusing on Time and Absence systems and Group Leaders within the Workday solution. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the accurate delivery of designated people core areas, transactional support, vendor coordination, and timely and accurate analysis of system and process queries through the case management system. Your main duties will involve monitoring long-term disability cases, managing retro case actions, handling SAP and PeopleSoft data inquiries, performing transactions and associated tasks related to designated people core area processes. You will also be responsible for reviewing and approving steps in accordance with policies, ensuring data integrity, administering P&C policies and programs, and supporting various projects and initiatives related to global system releases, policies, and processes changes. In this role, you will collaborate with teams such as ER, Legal, and Reward & Benefits CoE on policy changes, documentation of state regulations, and company initiatives. Additionally, you will support operational issues, change initiatives, and drive continuous improvement towards operational excellence while identifying and managing risks. To be successful in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and possess prior experience in coaching teams in a shared services environment. Skills required include the ability to navigate a tiered support model effectively, provide support to employees with restricted access, strong customer service skills, and proficiency in administering P&C systems and processes. Furthermore, you should demonstrate digital fluency, numeracy, analytical thinking, risk management, solutions focus, relationship management, and a keen eye for business with customer focus.
