Requirements
5-7 years of hands-on experience in software manual testing.
Ability to analyse requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Proficient in performing functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications.
Skilled in logging, tracking, and managing defects through to resolution, with clear communication to developers and stakeholders.
Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams and actively contributing during sprint planning and story grooming.
Capable of ensuring test coverage meets defined quality standards, including participation in test coverage analysis and reporting.
Experience conducting exploratory and ad-hoc testing for risk-based feature validation.
Ability to participate in release readiness activities, such as test case reviews, documentation, and sign-offs.
Proactive in refining and improving QA processes and best practices within the organization.
Experience mentoring junior QA engineers and supporting their technical and career development.
Effective communicator for sharing QA status, results, and risks with team leads and project managers.
Strong understanding of testing methodologies, defect lifecycle, and Agile development processes.
Skilled at writing clear, detailed, and well-structured test cases and defect reports.
Proficient in cross-browser and cross-device testing for web and mobile applications.
Experienced with tools such as JIRA, Browser stack, Confluence, or equivalents for test management and documentation.
Familiar with API testing tools like Postman.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills.
(Nice to have) Experience in usability and accessibility testing.
(Nice to have) Exposure to automation tools or concepts.
(Nice to have) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and the QA role within them.
