Senior Software Engineer - Servicenow

As a ServiceNow Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering advanced solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Your technical expertise and hands-on development experience across multiple ServiceNow modules will be crucial in leading complex implementations and mentoring junior engineers. Your role will involve a combination of hands-on coding and technical leadership to ensure that the ServiceNow platform meets both business and IT requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow applications and modules such as TSM, SOMT, OMT, TNI, GRC, and SecOps. - Build and maintain custom applications, workflows, integrations, and automation using ServiceNow tools like JavaScript, Glide, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub. - Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and architects to translate requirements into scalable solutions. - Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise applications using REST, SOAP, APIs, LDAP, SSO, and more. - Contribute to and guide CMDB design, discovery, and service mapping. - Ensure platform stability, performance, and best practices are maintained across implementations. - Provide technical mentorship to ServiceNow developers and junior engineers. - Participate in code reviews, design sessions, and architecture discussions. - Stay updated on ServiceNow releases and features, and recommend enhancements. - Create and maintain technical documentation and reusable solution patterns. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - 4+ years of ServiceNow development experience with proven hands-on expertise. - Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and at least two additional modules such as CSM, HRSD, GRC, or SecOps. - Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub. - Experience with ServiceNow integrations including REST, SOAP, APIs, SSO, LDAP, etc. - Solid understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes and best practices. - Experience with CMDB and Discovery. - Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA). - One or more ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications. - ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD). - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.,
