Senior Software Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a hands‑on Senior Application Developer to build and enhance a web‑based, AI‑powered .NET application that serves as an intelligent operations platform. This platform centralizes operational and site information, streamlines workflows, and delivers intuitive interfaces used across global sites. You’ll work end‑to‑end across Next.js/React (front‑end), Node.js (services), and .NET (back‑end), collaborating with product, data/AI, site operations, and reliability teams to ship secure, performant features at scale.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of professional software development experience building production web apps at scale.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js.

- Solid experience with Node.js (Express/Fastify/NestJS), API design, and service integrations.

- Professional experience with .NET (ASP.NET Core/C#) services, middleware, and data access patterns.

- Experience with Oracle databases for data storage and integration, including writing optimized queries and managing schemas.

- Hands‑on experience with relational (SQL Server/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL data stores.

- Deep understanding of performance optimization (bundle splitting, caching, CDN), accessibility, and secure coding practices.

- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines, specifically Azure DevOps.

- Excellent communication; ability to collaborate with product/ops and translate operational needs into intuitive interfaces.
