Our Ideal candidate is someone who will define the future architecture of our platform, providing technical and product expertise, mentor and guide developers and accelerate the pace of our growth. You will lead the architecture and ship high performance, reliable code which will helps us deliver awesome experience to our end users.

Title:  Lead / Sr SDE (Android)

Location: Remote / Mumbai 

Experience: 3-6 Yrs.

Education: Bachelor’s / Master’s in Software Engineering

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Own end to end feature development using latest architecture, design patterns and most importantly write secure and performant code by working closely with the product, UX/UI and backend teams



• 
  

  Build reusable libraries, tool-kits and developer tools for usage across multiple mobile teams.



• 
  

  Monitor the performance of the live apps and continuously improve them on both code and user experience level



• 
  

  Constantly raise the bar by reviewing each other’s code, share knowledge, tips, and tricks, and generally help - within and across teams



• 
  

  Evaluate and suggest new mobile methodologies and technologies



• 
  

  Work with a team of smart, entrepreneurial, and highly motivated folks working towards world-changing goals in a fast-paced agile environment.

• 
  

  Strong team playing skills and ability to mentor other team members.

Sounds Like You?

• 
  

  Keeping abreast on the modern Android programming paradigm, including the use of Kotlin, Java, RxJava etc and writing unit and functional tests.



• 
  

  Solid experience in kotlin and architectural designing.



• 
  

  Active practitioner of SOLID principles.



• 
  

  Experience in API design, SDK architecture, and mobile software lifecycle development practices.



• 
  

  Solid experience in MVVM architecture, along with livedata and view models.



• 
  

  Having good experience in Coroutines, multithreading, Rx Java, retrofit.



• 
  

  Strong CS fundamentals (with competencies in algorithms, data structures, design patterns, etc.)



• 
  

  Deep understanding of software engineering practices, Object Oriented Analysis 



• 
  

  Experience on various latest libraries available for Android (JetPack components).
