Senior Software Development Engineer - Mobile Application Development (Android)

Your role will involve defining the future architecture of the platform, mentoring developers, and accelerating growth. **Responsibilities:** - Own end-to-end feature development using the latest architecture and design patterns, ensuring secure and performant code - Develop reusable libraries, tool-kits, and developer tools for multiple mobile teams - Monitor and continuously improve the performance of live apps at both code and user experience levels - Collaborate with product, UX/UI, and backend teams to raise the bar through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring - Evaluate and recommend new mobile methodologies and technologies - Work in a team of smart, entrepreneurial individuals towards world-changing goals in an agile environment - Demonstrate strong team-playing skills and the ability to mentor other team members **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering - Keeping abreast of modern Android programming paradigms, including Kotlin, Java, RxJava, etc. - Solid experience in Kotlin and architectural designing - Active practitioner of SOLID principles - Proficiency in API design, SDK architecture, and mobile software lifecycle development practices - Experience in MVVM architecture, LiveData, and ViewModels - Good understanding of Coroutines, multithreading, RxJava, Retrofit - Strong fundamentals in computer science, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns - Deep knowledge of software engineering practices and Object-Oriented Analysis - Familiarity with the latest libraries available for Android (JetPack components) At Freecharge, you will be part of a team of over 450 FCians located in Gurugram & Bengaluru.
