Role Overview

Social Media Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Build and execute social media strategies and monthly content calendars for clients (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok as applicable).
• Create or coordinate content (static posts, carousels, short videos, reels, stories) aligned to brand voice and campaign objectives.
• Plan, launch and optimize paid social campaigns (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads etc.) to meet KPIs (reach, engagement, leads, conversions).
• Manage community engagement — respond to comments/messages, escalate issues, and maintain brand reputation.
• Track, analyse and report campaign & channel performance weekly/monthly with actionable insights.
• Work closely with designers, video editors, influencers and content creators to produce assets on time.
• Coordinate with Account/Operations teams for client approvals, briefs and deliverables.
• Maintain content & asset libraries, document campaign learnings and best practices.
• Stay updated on platform trends, algorithm changes and recommend new content formats/experiments.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, or related field.

• 2–5 years

  experience in social media marketing (agency experience preferred).
• Hands-on with Meta Ads Manager; familiarity with LinkedIn Campaign Manager, YouTube/Google Analytics is a plus.
• Comfortable with content tools: Canva / Photoshop / basic video editing (Premiere / CapCut / InShot).
• Strong copywriting & storytelling skills; good eye for creative visuals.
• Data-driven mindset — able to interpret reports and optimize campaigns toward KPIs.
• Good communication, client-handling and project coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients/campaigns and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
