Senior Social Media Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. Plan and execute monthly organic content calendars across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

2. Create engaging, brand-aligned content around books, authors, writing journeys, publishing insights, and reader communities.

3. Develop creative reel ideas, scripts, captions, hooks, and storytelling-led content formats.

4. Adapt trending social media formats to suit BlueRose Publishers literary tone and audience.

5. Coordinate with authors, creators, freelancers, and internal teams for content production and collaborations.

6. Support book launches, author features, events, workshops, podcasts, and campaigns through social media storytelling.

7. Work closely with design, editorial, marketing, and PR teams to ensure consistent creative output.

8. Provide content direction for static and video creatives used across organic and performance channels (no media buying).

9. Ensure brand consistency across all social media and digital communication touchpoints.

10. Track and analyze engagement, reach, growth, and content performance.

11. Prepare monthly performance reports with insights and optimization recommendations.

Preferred candidate profile

1. 2 years of minimum hands-on experience managing organic social media for brands, publishers, creators, or content-driven platforms.

2. Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube content formats, algorithms, and best practices.

3. Confident and comfortable appearing on camera for podcasts, interviews, reels, live sessions, and brand-led video content.

4. Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.

5. Analytical mindset with experience tracking engagement, reach, growth, and content performance.
